Vancouver Donut Tour: Gastown & Sweet City Sights

Your Vancouver donut adventure begins in beautiful Coal Harbor, where the city skyline meets the waterfront and incredible views set the stage for a delicious day of exploring. Over the next two hours, we’ll make our way from Coal Harbor along the Vancouver Waterfront, through Downtown, and into historic Gastown, enjoying incredible donuts while discovering the history, architecture, and culture that make Vancouver so unique.

We’ll kick things off with our first freshly made donuts of the day. Expect a mix of classic favorites and creative flavors that offer the perfect introduction to Vancouver’s impressive donut scene. From here, we’ll explore Coal Harbor, known for its waterfront setting, modern architecture, public art, and beautiful views of Vancouver Harbour and the surrounding mountains.

As we continue along the Waterfront, we’ll make our way toward Canada Place, one of Vancouver’s most recognizable landmarks. With its distinctive white sails and location overlooking the harbor, this area offers some fantastic views and photo opportunities before we continue deeper into Downtown Vancouver.

Of course, there are more donuts waiting for us. Our next tastings showcase different styles, flavors, and techniques, giving you a taste of both the classic and creative sides of Vancouver’s food scene. Between bites, your guide will share stories about the city’s history and its transformation from a small Pacific Northwest settlement into one of Canada’s most diverse and recognizable destinations.

Leaving the modern towers of Downtown behind, we’ll eventually enter Gastown, Vancouver’s oldest neighborhood. Cobblestone streets, historic brick buildings, independent shops, and beautiful architecture create a dramatic contrast with the neighborhoods we explored earlier. We’ll also pass the famous Gastown Steam Clock, one of Vancouver’s most recognizable landmarks.

We’ll finish with one final delicious donut tasting and a chance to take in the character of historic Gastown.
